Vanity Fair Oscar Party

So the Oscars were pretty much amazing....

best actress and best actor categories were creatively done.

Vanity Fair After Party
-The annual celebrity-stuffed bash, canceled last year before the end of the Hollywood writers' strike, roared back into style, with Oscar winners literally rubbing shoulders at the hilltop Sunset Tower Hotel, a new venue for the party after years at the restaurant Morton's.

Obama: The College Years
Obama was a freshman at Occidental College in Los Angeles photographer named Lisa Jack

With Facebook suddenly claiming rights to everything of ours, the question remains"what if Obama had had a facebook?" Would we have seen pictures of him allegedly engaged in typical college behavior?

The pictures above were taken during his years at Occidental College. We were all in college once....

"I Don't think there's anyone in Russia who doesn't know what a drunk person looks like."
-Katya Kushner

"Re, Obama tapping Hilay Clinton: It's true what they say. Keep you friends close and your enemies closer."

"Traditions make us better; at the very least, they remind us how far we've come and how lucky we are."
-Nancy Gibbs

What is change? ( at least for our generation)

A New Generation

A New Politics

Check out Scoop 44

I was always skeptical of Obama's lofty platform of change as Argentine politics have taught me that lofty platforms accomplish nothing. HOWEVER, it has become obvious that things in the United States must change.

With my current mood affected by a horrible cold front coming in and the economic conditions, well the way they are. The Statue of Liberty says it all right here.

Commercials have always held a fascination and occupied an entire section in advertising 101. My photography teacher , owner of an advertising firm, always pointed to Target . Target's ads incorporate puppies and children and for commercial purposes, there is no one better. Occupying a few sections they must capture our attention and must make us desire the chosen object.
I have always hated the minutes that mundane commercials have absorbed the time slots of my shows. HOWEVER, every once in a while I come across one that captivates me. Now , these are not always the big one minute, 2o million dollar spot before the superbowl, but i will admit my faves tend to hail from corporations.
This one is one of my favorites. Maybe its because I enjoy history , sports, and the killers and/or simply enough that the overall message is great, and/or maybe because of its artistic genuis.

Enjoy and stop whining!
